Art for Justice
Posters, graphics and art have long been inspirational output for those opposing oppressive systems. Using this legacy of creation as protest, The Space Program San Francisco offers free silkscreen printing services for progressive causes, including reproductive rights, anti-racist/racial justice activities, voting initiatives, and climate action.
Our services include:
- Free posters for local groups or organizations working for progressive causes
- Free posters for protest organizers or participants
- Limited edition prints to be sold for charitable purpose
How to request print services
Email info@spaceprogramsf.com with the following information:
- Your name
- Who you represent (group or organization, if applicable)
- How your prints will be used
- Quantity (max 50 prints, plus APs)
- Please share if you have a deadline by which you need these prints produced
- The image you want to print (see print specifications below)
Please allow 2 business days for a response. Once approved, we will provide a deadline by which the prints will be finished and arrange for a curbside pickup in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco.
Print specifications
- Verify image is at 100% (the actual size you would like to see printed, no larger than 15" x 23".)
- Make sure image is at least 300 dpi.
- Any text layers should be rasterized or converted to outlines.
- Max 2 colors
- images should have each color on a separate layers
- Paper stock available in black and white (French paper 100lb construction blacktop card stock and Cougar 100lb smooth white, or equivalent)

Acceptable files: .bmp (bitmap) .Ai (Adobe Illustrator) .PSD (Adobe Photoshop) .EPS (encapsulated postscript) .PDF (portable document format) .PNG (portable network graphics)
Sizing (please be mindful of these dimensions): paper stock 18" x 26", print area 15" x 23"
